Launching Nitroom!
The day has come, and I'm glad to present Nitroom, a tool for remote teams to gather online and have remote afterwork parties, workshops, and events. Nitroom allows you to split the team into smaller rooms that people can freely create, join, and leave whenever they want.
Nitroom mimics the experience of networking with your colleagues just as you would do it in person. In a casual afterwork or company party, people gather in small groups to have more personal conversations. Nitroom achieves the same result of having meaningful conversations, even with a large group of people, by providing the same experience.
What makes Nitroom special?
What sets Nitroom apart from our competition is the freedom to create, join, and leave rooms. Everyone can do it and it takes just a click. Everyone can create as many rooms as they want, completely ad-hoc, and host as many people as they'd like.
How's Nitroom different from...
Zoom Breakout rooms: Breakout rooms are useful when there's a predefined group of people that you want to put together and you have the time and energy to organize attendees in rooms. Nitroom goes a step beyond that and allows everyone, not only hosts, to join and leave rooms, create new ones on the fly and freely explore and interact with everyone.
Remo: Remo is a great tool for fully remote teams, but it's also very pricey and it comes with a bunch of limitations. Remo Virtual Office is made for teams that constantly need to communicate online, but it allows a maximum of 8 people in the same room and you pay a very premium price for it. In a company of around 200 employees, Remo can cost you as much as 24 times more than Nitroom.
Google Meets, Skype, etc: Google Meets or Skype also offer quality video calls, just like Nitroom. On top of that, Nitroom offers you the possibility to actually create meaningful conversations in smaller groups. Nitroom is not a tool to do video calls, it's a tool to make your team feel together, even when they are apart.
